By downloading, installing, accessing, purchasing, or using Dockspace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, do not download, install, access, or use Dockspace.
1. License Grant
Subject to these Terms, Dockspace grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Dockspace solely for your personal, non-commercial use on devices that you own or control.
No ownership rights are transferred to you. Dockspace retains all rights not expressly granted herein.
2. Personal Use Only
Dockspace is licensed, not sold.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by Dockspace, you may not:
- Use Dockspace for commercial distribution or resale.
- Redistribute, sublicense, lease, rent, lend, or transfer Dockspace.
- Include Dockspace in any software bundle, package, image, deployment, or distribution.
- Offer Dockspace as part of a hosted, managed, or subscription service.
- Use Dockspace for benchmarking, competitive analysis, or commercial testing.
- Share license keys or access credentials.
Any unauthorized use immediately terminates your license.
3. Restrictions
You agree not to:
- Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of Dockspace.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, or attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, architecture, or underlying technology of Dockspace.
- Circumvent, disable, remove, interfere with, or bypass licensing, payment, security, activation, usage restrictions, or technical protections.
- Tamper with application binaries, signatures, certificates, update systems, APIs, or network communications.
- Use bots, scripts, automation, scraping tools, or other methods to access or extract data from Dockspace.
- Attempt unauthorized access to Dockspace systems, servers, services, accounts, or infrastructure.
- Use Dockspace in any unlawful manner or in violation of applicable laws.
4. Intellectual Property
Dockspace and all associated intellectual property are owned by Dockspace and its licensors.
This includes, without limitation:
- Software
- Source code
- Object code
- User interfaces
- Widgets
- Designs
- Visual assets
- Graphics
- Icons
- Documentation
- Trademarks
- Logos
- Branding
- Product names
Except as expressly permitted by law or by prior written authorization from Dockspace, you may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, display, or exploit any of the foregoing.
5. Trademark and Brand Usage
You may not use, reproduce, imitate, modify, register, display, distribute, or otherwise exploit any Dockspace trademarks, logos, icons, trade dress, branding, product names, marketing materials, screenshots, or other brand assets without prior written permission from Dockspace.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any trademark rights.
6. Third-Party Platforms
Dockspace operates on Apple macOS and may interact with third-party software, services, operating systems, frameworks, or APIs.
Dockspace is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Apple Inc. unless explicitly stated.
Changes made by Apple or third parties may affect the functionality, availability, performance, or compatibility of Dockspace.
7. Updates
Dockspace may provide updates, patches, bug fixes, modifications, improvements, or new features at any time and without notice.
Dockspace is under no obligation to continue supporting any version of the software.
8. Assumption of Risk
Dockspace modifies and extends certain aspects of the macOS user experience, including functionality related to the Dock.
You acknowledge and agree that use of Dockspace is entirely at your own risk.
By using Dockspace, you accept the possibility of:
- Software conflicts
- Visual glitches
- Application crashes
- System instability
- Unexpected behavior
- Reduced performance
- Increased battery consumption
- Increased memory or CPU usage
- Compatibility issues
- Data corruption
- Data loss
- Operating system issues
- Device malfunction
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your data and devices.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCKSPACE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
DOCKSPACE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF:
- MERCHANTABILITY
- FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
- NON-INFRINGEMENT
- ACCURACY
- RELIABILITY
- AVAILABILITY
- SECURITY
- ERROR-FREE OPERATION
DOCKSPACE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF BUGS OR DEFECTS.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCKSPACE, ITS OWNERS, DEVELOPERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- INDIRECT DAMAGES
- INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
- SPECIAL DAMAGES
- PUNITIVE DAMAGES
- EXEMPLARY DAMAGES
- CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
- LOSS OF DATA
- LOSS OF PROFITS
- LOSS OF REVENUE
- LOSS OF BUSINESS
- LOSS OF GOODWILL
- DEVICE DAMAGE
- SYSTEM DAMAGE
ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE DOCKSPACE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL DOCKSPACE’S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Dockspace and its owners, developers, affiliates, contractors, licensors, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of:
- Your use of Dockspace
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable law
- Your infringement of any third-party rights
12. Suspension and Termination
Dockspace may suspend, revoke, terminate, or restrict your access to the software at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
Upon termination, all licenses granted to you immediately cease.
13. Changes to These Terms
Dockspace may modify these Terms at any time.
Continued use of Dockspace after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
